Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Delicious wraps filled with tender chicken, melted cheese, and a hint of garlic, perfect for any gathering or weeknight dinner.

  • 2 chicken breasts (or shredded rotisserie chicken)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack)
  • 4 tortillas (flour or whole-wheat)
  • 1 cup vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional, like thyme or oregano)

Instructions

  1. Dice chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add chicken, and sauté until golden (about 6-7 minutes).
  3. Reduce heat to low, stir in minced garlic, and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the chicken-garlic mixture, cover, and let melt (about 3 minutes).
  5. Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  6. Place chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla, add veggies, fold in sides, and roll tightly.
  7. Heat the assembled wraps in a skillet for 1 minute on each side for a golden crust.

Notes

Make the filling ahead and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Experiment with flavors by adding spicy sauce or fresh cilantro.
