Healthy Tuna Melt Wrap Recipe

A quick and delicious tuna melt wrap that combines savory tuna, creamy Greek yogurt, and melted cheese, perfect for a busy lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of tuna (in water or olive oil)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 23 whole grain wraps or tortillas
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional add-ins: chopped celery, onion, bell peppers, or spinach

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and drain the tuna. If adding vegetables, chop them finely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and salt and pepper. Add diced vegetables if desired and stir until incorporated.
  3. Lay out wraps flat. In the center, spread a generous amount of the tuna mixture, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  4. Fold the sides and bottom of the wrap towards the center and roll tightly. Heat a skillet over medium heat, drizzle with a bit of oil or butter, and grill the wrap seam side down for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and repeat on the other side.
  5. Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, slice in half, and serve with a side salad or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a crispier wrap, use a panini press or weigh down with a heavy skillet while cooking.
