  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 46 sturdy rolls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by slicing the onions and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Add sliced onions and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply browned and sweet.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and season generously with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Cover the meat mixture with shredded cheese, allowing it to melt.

Notes
